Photos of the remains of the Brookwood sidings which branches off from the Newport - Sunshine line on the southern side of the West Gate Freeway. The sidings faced Newport and went west, going to various industries including a meatworks.

The Apex Quarry siding leaving from the Sunshine side of Brooklyn yard, and runs westward. After leaving the main line it curves slightly, crosses a road, and slips into two. The west branch goes the the former VR tip. The other continues on until it is running west and parallel to a dirt road. After about a km it crosses the road and goes into the quarry siding.
