Derrimut Road

Road Underbridge
Line: Geelong and Warrnambool
Distance from Melbourne: 29.780 km
Track Diagram: View

The Derrimut Road underpass was built from scratch, diving under the railway which remained at the same level, opening to traffic in 1998. Each railway track is carried over the top of the road by a two span bridge.

The Western standard gauge and West (normally up) broad gauge lines slew away from the East line at this point, allowing room for a future island platform on the broad gauge lines.
