South Kensington (junction to suburban and goods lines)

Junction
Line: Regional Rail Link
Distance from Melbourne: 3.000 km
Track Diagram: View

At South Kensington the RRL tracks will run to the south of the current passenger platforms, with the existing goods lines needing to be relocated.

Two sets of crossovers link the down RRL tracks to the existing Geelong-bound suburban tracks, with a third crossover linking the up RRL tracks to the citybound suburban tracks. South Kensington is also the end of the parallel single track goods line, which diverges here for North Dynon.
