Weerite Station
Weerite was once a crossing station, the home signals were removed in 1899, with staff locks provided on the main line points. From 1928 it could be opened as an Intermediate Composite Electric Staff Block Point in the Pomborneit - Camperdown section.
It was closed to passengers on April 16, 1962 and made no-one in charge a few months later. The passenger platform was abolished by April 1966, the up end points being removed in March 1970, leaving a spur siding behind. Weerite was closed to all traffic by July 1975.
